Holiday Tips from Skye

Skye says: Sure hope you're having a Happy Holiday Season. I'm looking forward to all the fun and the treats. I just wanted to let you animal owners know that there are a few things to be careful about during the holiday season. For one thing, us canines have to be careful with what we eat. Even a small amount of chocolate can be toxic to my system. Don't let me have any, even if I beg. If I accidentally get into it, call the vet for advice right away.

Also chicken and turkey bones are a no-no. They can cause damage to my insides, so please don't feed them to me. Tinsel and tinfoil can cause indigestion. My cat friends can get strings caught around their tongues which can cause damage to their mouths as well as down the hatch. With a few precautions, we all ought to have a merry old time. See you in the millennium, if not before!
